British airways have a very poor image among the Indian travellers. There was a big newspaper report on this subject a few years back. Baggage handling systems have been poor in our country, but the situation with British Airways has been something extra ordinarily poor. During travel with them, there are lot of complaints of baggage lost, damaged, torn, and late deliveries. As per the rules these complaints are supposed to be disposed of fast and to the satisfaction of the travellers. Earlier the complaints of the travellers were being looked after and replied conclusively by the company officials, but lately with increase in the complaints, the Hear Office has referred the matters to their South Asian office. They in turn had appointed a legal advocate. the legal advocate gets hefty fee to fight cases of petty amount.

The bench of District Consumer Court at Curzon Road has been purchased by the legal advocate. Since he is on the panel of most of the airline companies thus has settled a huge BOOTY for the bench. He is thus managing the judgments in his favour.  The JUDGE AND THE MEMBERS OF THE BENCH are therefore side tracking all the papers filed and are giving judgment in favour of the airlines, in gross violation of the judicial system. Our judiciary is purchasable and so are the administrative machinery which has implanted such corrupt judges at these positions.

By this who suffers? The consumer.

  • The company has lot of money to pay to the legal advocates to fight petty amount cases, but they have no intentions to pay to the consumer who  suffered at their negligence.

  • They have faulted in their services and are not ready to take the responsibility.

Cases have been decided, but now our Judge at Consumer court have pronounced the judgment in favor of the company, hood winking all the facts and figures on the case file.

Thought for the consumers

  • Please come forward with your complaints.

  • Lets consolidate and fight jointly with the company.

  • Such high handedness on the Indian consumers will not be acceptable to the Indian people.
