SELLING DEFECTIVE AND DENTED CARS.
The consumer reported that a defective &
dented car was sold which did not
run for 5 minutes on road and the company refused to replace it. Danda
was used to get the work done. So beware with such companies. Buy from
them if you have a danda or God father with you. We banged our heads
with the Indian counterparts and then reported to their Chairman in
Korea but to no response.
So beware when you
go for this company car.
Kind attn: Mr. Sunil Prakash
Dear sir,
You are aware that I have suffered a lot due to the delivery of a
defective car by M/s. Hyundai Motor India Ltd(HMIL). I struggled for
three weeks for getting a service from M/s. Hyundai Motor, but they
totally ignored my grievance and did not show any interest to sort it
out. At last, with the intervention of the Chief
Minister’s office and the Transport Minister of West Bengal, I was able
to replace my defective car with a fresh one.
The above cannot be the correct procedure to extract service from a
company. I think that HMIL has done so, because customer right is not
strongly established in India and also legal procedures take longer
time. As a customer, I feel that it is our noble duty to make the
customers aware of such incidence and make them conscious about their
rights and duties.
Hence, I would request you to take all necessary steps to publish my
grievance in your web site and CNBC/other TV channels at an early date.
I am prepared to render you all necessary support and co-operation
required for your above action. I strongly feel that our immediate
action will force HMIL and other companies to think twice before doing
such ill treatment to customers. On the contrary, if we do not act, HMIL
and other companies will continue to harass customers and they will also
prove that consumer right does not exist in India.
Kind regards,
Sampa Biswas
