ICICI BANK - POOR SERVICE

The services of ICICI Bank have deteriorated considerable. Recently we have received following complaints which are still pending for disposal by the banking authorities.

  1. CREDIT CARDS,

  2. LOANS,

  3. ATM DEPOSITS

WE HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN TO THE BANK AND NO CONCRETE REPLY.
THE CHAIRMAN IS SILENT ON THE MATTER.
SO PLEASE BEWARE WHILE BANKING WITH THIS BANK.

Case No. 1

I have transferred money in cash Rs.2000/- through ATM to one of my friend "Nandan P Date" 
on 1st Feb 2005. Still its not been deposited either in my account nor my friends account.

So kindly let me know as soon as possible. As its already 45 days over till now.

comments = I am using ICICI credit card for past four years.
           I have been regular in my payments and have no dues.
           Last year 6-3-2004 I received a new ICICI credit card bearing a 
	   different number by courier. (in addition to old one)  
               
           I immediately informed customer care centre informing them that 
	   I have not applied for any such fresh card and I was told the card 
           is a “GIFT” for me being a privileged customer. And it is being given 
           free and I need not pay any fees for the first year. I insisted that card 
           be cancelled as I have no use for this card and I was told it makes no 
           difference as this card is given free for the first year. I never received 
           any communication with regard to this particular card after this event.
           I never used this card.
                                 .
           I was surprised when I received statement demanding annual fees and service 
           charges for the card after one year. Please advice what should I do now?

Thanks for the response.

1. I have been regularly paying on time through cheques of other banks.
2. Secondly for this particular transaction there was a discrepancy which
after verification was waived off, and I have the letter from the bank.
3. My savings account is not linked to my credit card account. To link one
has to mention while opening an account with the bank.

In the above mentioned situation, can I not take any action against the
bank? What would you suggest? Can I have your Delhi numbers so that my
sister can talk to you as this has been with her and she is based in Mumbai
while I am in Delhi.

Dear Sir,
I had applied for a car loan around the Diwali time(year 2004), which
Never got approved and I never heard from the bank authorities regarding the same.
Though the bank guy had taken the PDC cheques from me, on which I never
heard back the status. Last month I got a letter from the bank that the loan 
recovery will be in effect from Feb 7th, the recovery of the loan which never got 
disbursed to me. When I called up, i was told that there is a mistake and they will 
rectify the same. To my surprise, the 1st installment of the loan has been deducted 
from my bank of the loan amount that never got sanctioned.
Though I had also left instructions in ABNAMRO salary a/c :1014597 Sector 18 Branch).
A copy of this letter I am sending to CBI director, Delhi's Police
Commissioner, and RBI as I am not sure as to which part of judiciary it
happens to be a part of.
